It wasn't until we had children that we realised the dangers around the home.

The biggest one being doors and how easily it was for my children to face a major traumatic event. It was so easy for our little pride and joys to loose their fingers in doors. We promptly set about looking for products to stop this from happening, but we soon noticed that the only products available to buy were the ones preventing a door from closing shut.

But what about the products to keep a door open securely, preventing fingers from being crushed!!!

What about the hinge side of the door, that little gap on a door that can cause such a devastating injury and traumatic event to our children, causing the loss of their little fingers.

With there being nothing suitably available on the market I had to do something about it!

With this in mind I set about inventing Holdsdoors.

Thanks to Holdsdoors completely unique design it can keep a door open at 90 degrees, taking away any chance of our children (or anyone else) from trapping their fingers in the this gap.

Thanks to Holdsdoors unique self-supporting design it can be placed anywhere on the hinge side of the door in seconds and removed in seconds. It can be placed anywhere on the hinge side of the door well out of the reach of children.

Another great benefit of it's unique design is there is no need for any permanent fixings.
